Jens Mortensen is a New York City based photographer who specializes in editorial and commercial still life as well as product photography.

Jens grew up in Denmark where he studied photography and graphic design at Copenhagen's Technical College. After finishing school, Jens gained further experience working for photographers in both Copenhagen and New York.

He eventually moved to New York City, where he started his own business and now works from his studio located in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.

  • His work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, T-Style, Details, W, Departures, Real Simple, Conde Nast Traveler, Wired, Outside, More, Elle Decor and Vanity Fair among others.

His commercial credits include Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, Theory, Saks Fifth Avenue, Reed Krakoff, Ann Taylor, Knoll, Nabisco, Unilever and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
